Charleston, South Carolina Pt 1

We took a family trip to Charleston, South Carolina, over Labor Day weekend.  It’s about a five hour drive from our house and was a great location choice for a little get-away.  We enjoyed lots of time on the beaches, took a water taxi, walked all around downtown, played at a park, walked in a fountain, and, of course, checked out another Whole Foods. =)  We had a wonderful time!

We prepared for the trip on Saturday morning by drinking some super shakes:IMG_7179 IMG_7180 IMG_7187

The boys watched an episode of “Life” (similar to “Planet Earth”) to pass the time:IMG_2393 IMG_2395 IMG_2398 IMG_7195 And here was our hotel in Charleston (Oh, how thankful we are for Hilton points from back in Mike’s IBM days!):

Eating some seafood…I tried oysters since the place was called, “Noisy Oyster”.  I was…..not a fan….
