Mother’s Day Weekend

Over Mother’s Day weekend, Mikey had the FUN opportunity of spending the weekend with our friend and pastor on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.  Now before you get down on them for leaving their wives on Mother’s Day Weekend, please keep in mind that it was my original suggestion to look into that date. I had hoped to take a trip with the boys to Wisconsin, but eventually decided against it because it was right before Ethan’s last week of school and I didn’t want him to miss out on all of the fun things they had planned.  And by the time I figured that all out, the other potential dates didn’t end up working out for various reasons.  Anyway, the guys had a great time and the boys and I had tons of fun, too.

Back at home, the boys and I had lots of fun.  I try to plan something fun for each day.  A few highlights included going to the park with our buddies and playing in the Chattahoochee River, Ethan’s last soccer game that his friend from school attended, and finishing “Runaway Ralph” and watching the movie.

And on Mother’s Day, I was in the kitchen with pearls (which I wore on our wedding day, haha!) and an apron and I had to snap a shot of it!  It made me laugh!  I also got to take a nap with Micah!  And these two cuties looked like this:
