Life at Home

Just wanted to spend a little time updating the website with some pictures and stories of life at home.

We were fighting off colds for a bit after Grandma Cleve’s visit (well, you read about the hand, foot, mouth thing…so the boys were fighting that off and I was trying to avoid getting sick) so we decided to have a couple days of competition to see who could drink the most water.  Ethan won.

Micah loves to help cook and loves to lick out bowls afterwards.  He also wants to wear only his Packers pants, shirt, and socks

Milestone for Mommy: I mowed the lawn for the first time.  It was SO hot, but I actually really enjoyed the work.  And afterwards we all ran through the sprinklers for a while.

Many of our days look like this – Settlers of Caton with Ethan, Micah coloring or doing something else nearby:

We finished another book together and watched the movie – Stuart Little.  The only similarity between the book and the movie was the fact that there was a mouse named Stuart Little that lived with the Little family who had a cat named Snowbell.  Everything else…a totally different story.  It was a very cute story, but it was nothing like the book.  Kind of a disappointment for us. =/

The boys spent their own money on birdhouses at Michaels yesterday.  It was adorable. And then they painted their houses.  First question this morning – “Mom, did you talk to Dad about where we could put our bird houses????”

The boys wanted to take pictures of our “new town city”

And this morning we all got our hair cut!
