We spent the last two days of our vacation in Brugges, Belgium. We rented a house with my parents and spent time exploring the city and enjoying its food! Micah would still tell you that one of his highlights from the Europe trip was Belgium waffles…in fact, he would like to move to Belgium so that he can eat them every day. He has chosen to eat Belgium waffles for his birthday in December! =) This was also my sister’s birthday, so we took a few pictures in honor of her while we were there.
Here’s the place we stayed:
Breakfast at Gingerbread (HIGHLY recommend this place):
Belfry Tour (this is one of Ethan’s highlights from the trip. He absolutely loved it!):
Brugges: beer and chocolate!
The second day we had to say a very abrupt goodbye to my parents as they needed to catch a train to Switzerland. We spent a couple more hours in Belgium and then drove back to Germany, stopping by the Bissonnette’s for a final goodbye. Micah tried with every tactic he could think of to get Hannah to come home with us. He told her how much he loved her and that she could play volleyball at our house…that there are schools in America, too, and she could serve by helping our family. =D He was somewhat satisfied when she agreed to try to come visit him in Georgia some day!
