Germany: Day 10

Micah started the day by helping Miss Joy make a delicious breakfast.  He was very proud of his work. =)  E played a game of Qwirkle with Grandpa – such a fun game!

Mike went with Ed and my parents to explore Hammered Abbey (in their town) that morning.  I spent time with Miss Joy and the boys at the Hangar.  I guess I didn’t take any pictures of our time, but I imagine we spent it on the trampoline, playing legos and enjoying good conversation. =)

That afternoon my parents stayed closer to home at the Hangar while we went with the Bissonnette’s to a really awesome public pool in Wittlich.  The boys LOVED the big water slide and each went down it a half dozen times.

That afternoon we attended the contemporary service at their chapel on Spangdahlem Air Force Base.  We forgot to snap a picture of the outside of the chapel, but it was definitely a neat experience to be worshipping with fellow believers in Germany.  After church, we drove to Bernkastel-Kues and visited the castle.  We took some cute family pictures up there and then went into town for an incredible dinner at one of the B’s favorite restaurants.
