INK!

We didn’t have Classical Conversations on Tuesday this week.  I guess it was our fall break.  Anyway, I decided that since I would have both boys home that day it was the day to do a field trip!  I had been hoping to take them to a train museum, but it wasn’t open on Tuesdays.  I did a little research and found INK! which is a children’s museum in Gainesville, about 40 minutes away.  INK! stands for interactive neighborhood for kids.  They had lots of different areas to check out various professions – veterinary office, radiation office, dentist office (sadly, the boys weren’t interested in these spaces)…they also had a police car, fire truck, ATV, motorcycle and an airplane.  They had a broadcasting station, a farm, a grocery store, a bank and a post office.  Anyway, it was lots of fun!  Extra bonus – we listened to a new Magic Tree House book (Christmas in Camelot) the whole way there and back.  Another book down!

We ate lunch in the car and then went back in for another hour of playing.IMG_6043 IMG_6046 IMG_6054 IMG_6057 IMG_6062 IMG_6063 IMG_6064 IMG_6065
