So, it’s not my fav holiday…but it cannot be hidden from our children. =D And these boys LOVE dressing up. This year the boys dressed as superheroes. Micah yelled about being able to “save the world” regularly while wearing his costume.
I took the boys to a pumpkin patch on Friday afternoon. My friend had gone the day before and got 50% off pumpkins…so I thought it’d be the perfect time to get some for the boys. Sadly, they were not on sale for me. People don’t just give me discounts on things…I have friends that this happens to ALL THE TIME. =/
On Friday evening we went to a “Trunk or Treat” at the school affiliated with our church. We invited our neighbors/friends along with us and had a really nice time together.
On Saturday we had a soccer game for Ethan and then went to the Georgia Air Show (I’ll post on this later). We got home after 8:30 at night, but decided to rush out to trick or treat at a few houses in our neighborhood. Everyone was so glad to see our boys out and were asking about what took us so long. =D We ended by trick or treating at our own house, which the boys thought was SO funny!
Here are the boys a couple days later organizing their candy and picking the 7 pieces they would keep and enjoy:
