One Cleve Crew tradition we have is to decorate the house for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. That’s usually when the Christmas music begins, too, although I started a little early this year because…when is it NOT appropriate to be exciting about the coming of our Savior? I wasn’t busy listening to 12 Days of Christmas or anything. =D Anyway, Mike is not a huge fan of this tradition, but it’s one of my favorite things to do so he is always very complimentary when it’s done.
Also, my Auntie got us this incredible smelling wreath this year and I LOVE it. I really miss the smell of a real Christmas tree, so having this in the home is extra special! Thanks, Auntie! You bless us in so many ways.
Here’s a little glimpse at our home these days:
The boys and I also drew white snowflakes on many of the windows, which adds a very festive feel. It almost looks like it’s snowing out there… Easy way to decorate! As you’ll soon see, we have added a few more decorations as we have done our advent activities again this year.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Or one of the most, anyway!
