Easter

We had a lovely Easter, celebrating our Risen Lord!  We were joined by Uncle Zach at our church and then we all went to my Aunt and Uncle’s house for a delicious dinner (that’s lunch, really, but peeps in my family call Sunday lunch “dinner” because it’s a bigger meal).  Micah wore a tie for the occasion and LOVED it.

I was too busy enjoying the company to snap pictures.  Here’s what I have:

My sister sent this adorable picture of my oldest nephew.  He’s seriously SO cute and the sweetest little boy.  Love him.

Easter and the Masters

So one of Mike’s lifelong dreams has finally come true.  He has crossed something important off of his bucket list*.  He had the opportunity to go to Augusta with good friends to see a practice round of the Masters.  (*I’m sure that his bucket list still includes going to the actual tournament at some point, but this was a dream come true for my man!)  Our friends from Colorado came out to celebrate Easter and the Masters practice with us!  We had a great visit with them and the big boys LOVED the opportunity to walk that beautiful course.

Here’s Ethan waiting for Daddio to bring Brandon, Kelsey and Piper home from the airport:

We headed to a nearby golf course soon after they arrived.  Mike, Brandon and Ethan played 9 holes.  Piper and Micah played every now and then, too. =D

After the service on Easter Sunday, I had the boys decorate our “tablecloth” for Easter dinner.  They thought that was pretty fun and we kept it up for a couple more meals afterwards.

Here are some shots from our time at home and at the school park:

Mike took a bunch of pictures from the Masters practice round.  I just snagged a few that I liked in particular:

Thanks, again, for spending such a fun weekend with us!  We all had a blast!!

The boys got adorable new shirts from Grandma Cleve for Easter.  Love them!  Thanks, again!!

E and I spent about two hours (while Micah slept!) weeding our backyard the other day.  We loved working on it together.  We also spent a good hour playing soccer the other evening.  That was a blast but showed me I am not in very good shape anymore/am getting old – yikes!

Ethan rainbowing/vacuuming upstairs before our guests come.  I LOVE that he enjoys helping to clean so much!  We got a lot done in much less time working together.  Woot!

Ethan and Hana

As I was going through pictures to find for one of my previous posts about Mike’s weekend in California, I ran across a lot of cute pictures of Ethan and Hana together over the years.  You’ve seen most of these pictures in years past, but I wanted to have them all in one post…the best of the best of the two of them over the years:

This is when I met Hana and was pregnant with Ethan, but didn’t know it.

Easter Hunt

Grandma Cleve sent some fun new toys for us to give to the boys for Easter, so we sent them on a hunt.  They had to follow the clues on their flashcards until they found their new toys hiding in the pots and pans. They had a blast and absolutely LOVED their new “jet-speeders” and “Dusty Crophopper” and “Chug”.

Thanks, Grandma Cleve!!!

Uncle Ger & Aunt Lauren

Uncle Ger and Aunt Lauren came to visit us over Easter weekend!  They made the long drive (while 21 weeks pregnant!!) to spend a couple days with us.  We had such a wonderful time with them!  In recapping our time with them, Ethan says, “we played soccer at the park in the rain (oh dear!), we went to the zoo, painted Easter eggs, did an Easter egg hunt, and did dirt with Uncle Ger.”  I guess those are the highlights and are all represented by pictures below…
